![]() ![]() Staff will never leave training for bathroom etc. Position your research and training rooms at the edge of the maps without any nearby facilities, since patients will never visit them. Save the big size ones for your very large rooms (wards, training etc.) or hallways. In the 3x3 or 3x4 rooms, only the small heaters/coolers are required. Hand washing stations are necessary in diag rooms which receive a lot of use, but not in any other rooms. Position all of your doors and objects to make the walking distances as short as possible. If you need more money, repay the remainder of a loan, and then borrow the full amount back from that lender. The interest is low, and you pay principle + interest. Once you have a profitable and self-sufficient hospital, setup a fully featured research room with 4 top researchers and research everything. Speed upgrade is great for janitors, since they will be moving around so much. I like to upgrade stamina as a priority, particularly for janitors, nurses, assistants since they don't really need to be specialised. Lots of staff have negative personality modifiers when they are tired. Training times are the same whether your train 1 person or 20. ![]() Spam encyclopaedia walls when you get them. You can mass-train your entire staff to something like happiness or efficiency every so often. I usually put this in my original or second diag building.īuild a giant training room with ~16 seats. Make sure its easy for patients to form a queue right in front of each cafe counter. Some maps have barely any psych patients, for example.Ī very large cafe, with two cafe counters (no newspaper or gift cards) keeps guests happy and fed for a long time. Try to have one toilet and one staff room in all of your large buildings.īuild cure rooms for the cases that come in. Once patients are cured they don't need anything, so they can be at the 'edge' of a map with few facilities. You can group together doctors and nurses trained on treatment there. Lump your cure rooms in one separate building. Watch where the patients are entering from the map, and place your second diag/reception building near those entrance points. Patient timers start as soon as they spawn into the world. Put a reception there as well so that new patients can still come in. As the levels progress I'll build a second one with more advanced diag/cure rooms like psych (if needed) or DNA analysis. I like to have all my GP office and diag rooms in one building, usually my original building with the entrance. The flow of patients is Entry -> Reception -> GP office -> Diag -> Cure. I do at least 5 in my fluid analysis room since it us used constantly. They are single-use items, and you don't want to have to replace them manually each time. Place lots of fire hydrants in your machine rooms, at least 3. Only rooms with repairable machinery need fire hydrants. Rooms don't need bins unless they have something in it that can generate litter ie. Focus your research on upgrading it as well. It has higher power than the cardio or general diag, doesn't need special training, and can be upgraded more. Use fluid analysis as your primary nurse diagnostic room. Place the GP office, Fluid analysis or Cardo (whatever you have unlocked), toilets, pharmacy etc and hire some staff - all of this should be enough for level 3. You won't pull in enough patients to justify running it. Obviously you will generate a lot of cash this way.ĭon't worry about things like hospital reputation or staff happiness unless the hospital mission specifically targets it.ĭon't unpause your hospital until you have built to at least hospital level 3. Usually prices +50% (one button does it all) once your hospital is up and running. Make sure you keep increasing prices until you have surplus capacity (usually at the GP side) or when there are too many reports of people not paying. Immediately increase your prices to +20%. Spam these to get to prestige 3 quickly and easily, plus a decent boost to diag/treatment chances. Unlock the gold cert, rug, and items which increase treatment/diagnostic % as priority. Its much easier and space cost effective to increase prestige through things like rugs and gold certs than through room size. Stick to the minimum room size for all of your rooms. ![]()
